In my opinion, there is no such thing as an average kitchen. It varies from cabinet style and color, to counter top, flooring and length of cabinets involved. In the past two months, we have completed two kitchens with granite counter tops and they were approximately $50,000.00. These were both good size kitchens which included foyer cabinets and laundry room cabinets and flooring.
How long does it take to remodel a kitchen?
Approximately four weeks depending on size.
My cousin Joe is a plumber, can we have him do the plumbing?
Sure, I don't see why not. You would have to schedule him and it shouldn't hold the job up. If you trust him, we trust him. Typically we hire all the subcontractors for the job. We've worked with these people for many years and know their work is impeccable and they meet our schedule.
What can we do to save money on the project?
In the past we have let homeowners do most of the demolition which will save them a considerable amount of money. We would normally supply the dumpster before the work gets started.
Will I be without a sink and stove during the construction?
Absolutely not. We will always leave the sink, the stove and a little cabinetry with a temporary top so you can continue using your kitchen. There may be a day or two that you may not have it.
What else do you do?
We are a complete contracting business. We build new homes, additions, custom kitchens, bathrooms and decks. We pretty much do everything.
What kind of warranty do we get?
All work is guaranteed for one year. After that, depending on the problem, I'll work with you. This is why many of my customers stay our friends long after the job is finished.
